COVERAGE - An Exhibition Of Artworks Created By Mr. Al Diaz, Entitled "Ain't No Thing." @17 Frost Gallery, Brooklyn, NYC 10/01/15. October 8, 2015 23:44

While Al Diaz will forever be linked to Jean Michel Basquiat as a co-creator of SAMO©, the hugely influential, conceptual street art project, Diaz has since long moved on.

Diaz cleverly wields wit, humor and biting satire in projects that include his graffiti moniker, "BOMB 1" and his utilization of New York City Transit's 'Wet Paint' and 'Service Change' signs into his works on paper.  This pop-up show also featuring collaborators like Jilly Ballistic was curated by fellow street artist Ellis Gallagher.

Despite the nasty rainy weather a large crew of hardcore fans (both old school and new school) braved the weather to drink PBR's & wine with a crew of living legends.

The show is going to be up at 17 Frost for another week or so and the pieces are priced reasonably.  So get off your ass and get some culture!
