Frequently Asked Questions
All prints are numbered, signed by the artist and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. We cannot replace lost or damaged certificates. We do not do reprints of any kind. All artwork is a limited edition.
What does it mean to purchase a Limited Edition?
This means a limited quantity of the print or original series were made, and once they sell out, there are no more!
Prints are released arbitrarily. Please sign up for the mailing list and follow us on social media to know when the next print can be yours.
What is a "Hand-Embellished" print?
These are one-of-a-kind, unique works of art that have been hand-touched by the artist themselves; similar to owning an original piece of artwork. No two hand-embellished prints are alike. They are usually made with mixed media such as spray paint, paint and other unique additions.
These are original works that are also a signed and numbered series.
These are completely unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
How are the prints packed for mailing?
We roll the print face forward in archival safe tissue paper before rolling in Kraft paper. Each print is sealed with a Cluster Wall sticker. The print is then placed in a heavy-duty Kraft tube with caps on both ends. Please be careful when opening the tubes! All original artwork is carefully packaged using the best materials possible.
What is the four color silkscreen process?
This is the only method that Cluster Wall uses to create its prints. When the artwork is created it is separated into four colors (CMYK) which, when transferred to print, recreates the original image. CMYK is a color model that is used to create the full spectrum of colors. Due to the nature of screen-printing, each print ends up looking slightly different, with small variations in color, ink coverage, etc. This is what makes printmaking unique as no two prints will be alike.
What is a Giclée or Inkjet print?
Giclée prints are created using high-resolution ink-jet printers. This is not a process that we believe are best suited for collectors of artwork and we will never sell them.
The majority of our prints are designed to fit standard U.S. frame sizes. – Please check Poster Frame Depot, Target, Pier 1 Imports, Ikea, Amazon, or your local framer. Show off your wall and tag #clusterwall
